HUSK LIGHTING COLLECTION: South Drawn x Luke Mills
Husk, a cradle-to-cradle lighting range by South Drawn, is developed for architects, interior designers, and environmentally conscious consumers. The collection pairs refined aesthetics with circular principles, and the ability to disassemble, service, and return each piece was at the forefront.
Using locally sourced materials—from the biodegradable micropulp shade to artisan-formed glass—offering a sustainable lighting solution for contemporary interiors.
“Between its release, exclusive pop-up, and the documentation and celebration of its entire design process, the Husk Collection is now a Good Design Australia award winner.
Countless hours were dedicated to developing new in-house processes and arriving at a design that’s refined in both material and form.
The combination of artisan-formed slumped glass and Micro Pulp by Zeoform celebrates closed-loop materials and highlights the thoughtful consideration behind this collection.”

Crafted entirely in solid wood, the Humilis features a sculpted, curved back that supports the lumbar region and embodies the designer’s vision of heirloom-quality Australian craftsmanship.
After three years of extensive prototyping, we released our first solid wood chair called Humilis. Its curved back is meticulously sculpted to cup the lower lumbar for support, uniting comfort and striking design to deliver something undeniably unique.
The Humilis chair rejects the fast furniture paradigm by offering an heirloom-quality piece, crafted in Australia and accompanied by an authentication certificate and each piece is numbered and bears the FrancoCrea ‘maker’s mark’
