We are thrilled to announce our education partnership with IP Australia, the government agency tasked with administering design rights including Patents, Trade Marks, Design Registrations and Plant Breeders’ Rights.

A new ADA-led education series, delivered in partnership with IP Australia, will debut during Melbourne Design Week in May.

The first in-person workshop will lay the foundation for year-round hybrid sessions on filing trade marks, registering designs, and understanding how to use the available IP protections for the furnishing sector.

The ADA and IP Australia have collaborated closely throughout the two-year Designs Review Project 2019-2021, a joint effort that laid the groundwork for the first round of policy changes legislated in early 2022.
