With 30 years of experience in the design industry, Anne-Maree Sargeant is a passionate advocate, curator, journalist, speaker, and creative problem solver. She fuses her background in law and design as the director of Authentic Design Alliance® (ADA). This for-purpose industry association is leading the fight against furniture design theft in Australia and promoting the value of investing in original and sustainable products.

Having been immersed in architecture during her father’s academic career at the Melbourne University Architecture Department, Tamsin completed Fine Art and photography studies at RMIT. After working with niche interiors magazines for several years, Tamsin foresaw the burgeoning interest in eco-design and sustainable architecture, the foundation for launching Green Magazine, one of the first Australian publications in this space.

Karie Soehardi, Circular Design Thinking
Karie Soehardi is a pioneer in sustainable design and has been shaping the interior market with circular economy principles for over 20 years. Following a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of Sydney and a Diploma in Sustainable Living from the University of Tasmania, Karie has been integral to product development for various companies before founding the Circular Design Thinking consultancy, where she guides the industry towards eco-friendly practices.

She co-founded TRAKS Textile Recycling and collaborates with Empower.eco on sustainability initiatives. She is a widely respected materials expert driven by a commitment to leaving a better planet for future generations. CircularDesignThinking.co
